He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Ponte and Rosaline Ponte; his son Brian Manuel Ponte; his sister Priscilla Pike; and his friend Stanley Potock.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Marie Ponte; and his daughters, Denise Adessa (Rich), Melissa Waters (Charles) and Tricia Dougherty (Brian). He is also survived by two sisters; six grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
