He was predeceased by: his parents, Giovanni "John" and Josephine Petrella (Farfalla); his wife Shirley Petrella (Dunn); and his siblings, John, James "Sassy", Mario, Frank, Louis "Geno", Daniel "Dan" Petrella and Lucy Stanic.
He is survived by: his brother Anthony "Pinky" Petrella of Florida. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
