Mary V. Evans Obituary
We bid farewell to Mary V. Evans of Mingo Junction, Ohio, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 9, 2025 at the age of 100. Mary V. touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles and Mary Volosin, Sr. (Fedor); her siblings, Charlie, Anna, John, George, Pete, Andrew, Joe and Mike; and her husband Andy Evans Jr..
She is survived by: her sister Helen Orenzuk; her children, Andrea Bell (Terry), Nona Evans-Roark (Kevin), Anicia Evans and Andrew Evans (Melissa Elker); her grandchildren, Matt Bell, Kevin Bell (Holly McClain), Mareen Walsh (Russell), Ashley Illencik (Matt) and McKenzie Evans; her great grandchildren, Marliegh, Arya, Charlee Illencik, Silvia Walsh and Anacelia Parisi; and her sister Anicia. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, her church family and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Nicholas Orthodox Church (604 Colliers Way, Weirton, WV 26062).
