She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles McGuire and Gertrude McGuire (Barrett); her husband Thomas J. Murphy, Sr.; her son Michael Murphy; her siblings, Charles McGuire, Robert "Sam" McGuire and Elizabeth "Betty" Nagy; and her son-in-law Jeff Bayne.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas Murphy, Jr. (Lori) of Bridgeport, Patrick Murphy of Mingo Junction, Charles Murphy (Elizabeth) of Houston, TX, Christopher Murphy (Dianne) of Mingo, Nancy Petrella (Bob) of Mingo, Kathleen Bayne of Steubenville, Judith Dunburg (Bill) of Mingo and Mary Agnes Shaffer (Mark) of Akron, Ohio. She is also survived by thirty three grandchildren; forty four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
