It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha Valentine of Mingo Junction, Ohio, born in Morgantown, West Virginia, who passed away on September 8, 2021, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Carper and Beatrice Carper (Strahin); and her sister Mary Carper. She is survived by: her children, Henry P. Guminey, Jr. (Phil) of Mingo Junction, OH, Jeffrey D. Guminey (Lisha) of Grove City, OH and Christi Benner of Circleville, OH; her brothers, Douglas Carper of Morgantown, WV, James Carper (Fran) of Sebring, Charles Carper of Morgantown, WV and Clyde Carper of Wadestown, WV; and her grandchildren, Lauren Beatrice Guminey and Shannon Rebecca Benner.
