She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Speece and Loretta Speece (Doty). She is survived by: her husband Paul J. Carpenter; her children, David Blackburn of Martins Ferry, Nora Thompson (Josh) of Brilliant, Jody Carpenter of Florida, Kristi Anderson of Yorkville, Paul Jr. Carpenter of Adena, Danny Carpenter of Rayland, Justin Carpenter of Columbus and Crystal Carpenter of Adena; her grandchildren, Alicia, Joe, Matthew, Dakota Carpenter, Ember, Evan Carpenter, Breanna Brokaw, Allison Ignacak, Courtney and Nickolas Anderson; her great grandchild Ella Carpenter; and her sisters, Jackie and Connie.
