We are sad to announce that on February 19, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Emma I. Smith of Mingo Junction, Ohio, born in Steubenville, Ohio. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Barry and Marie Barry (Higginbotham); her husband Robert R. Smith; and her sisters, Dorothy Giles (Barry) and June.
She is survived by: her children, Gerald Smith (Cindy) of St. Petersburg, FL, Lisa Rosa (John) of Olathe, KS, Tammy DeLeonardis (Michael) of Martins Ferry, OH and Rebecca Avie (Eric) of Cedar Park, TX.; her grandchildren, John Robert (Allison), Kimberly, Matthew Rosa, Austin (Samantha) and Shaye DeLeonardis (Josh); her great grandchildren, Lakelynn, John Russell, Aspen and Reid; and her brother-in-law Mike Giles.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel (4435 Sunset Blvd, Steubenville, OH 43952). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be made to Shriners Children's (Shriners Hospitals for Children) of Erie, PA.
