He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Welch and Josephine Welch (Petrick); his wife Geraldine A. "Geri" Welch (George); his son Craig Welch; his sister Rita Welch; and his brother-in-law Sam George.
He is survived by: his son Brian Welch of Mingo Junction, OH; his siblings, Carol Howard (late Jack) of Mingo Junction, OH and Robert Welch (Judy) of Mingo Junction, OH; and his sisters-in-law, Dora Snyder of Riverside, CA and Rose Marie Arnett (Lary) of Weirton, WV. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
