She was predeceased by: her parents, Estel Saunders and Dorothy Saunders (Andrews); her siblings, James "Jim" Saunders and JoAnn Cain; and her parents-in-law, Ross and Maxine Townsend.
She is survived by: her husband Robert S. "Butch" Townsend; her children, Robb Townsend of Mingo Junction, OH and Crissie Moran (Eric) of Steubenville, OH; her grandson Grady Moran; her brother Robert "Bob" Saunders (Marilyn) of Fairview, PA; and her siblings-in-law, Catherine Saunders of East Springfield, OH, Larry Townsend (Peggi) of Steubenville, OH, James Townsend (Rhonda) of Ft. Wayne, IN and Patrick Townsend (Susan) of Mingo Junction, OH. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
