She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett R. Bennett and Ada Bennett (Shonkwiler); her husband Herman Swords; her son Stephen Swords; her siblings, Bernard Bennett, Thomas Bennett, Donald Bennett, Everett Bennett, Louise Sheets and Lucille McDaniel; and her daughter-in-law Claudia Swords.
She is survived by: her sons, Michael Swords of Newark, Phillip D. Swords of Minford, Jeffrey Swords of Minford and Kevin Swords of Columbus; her grandchildren, David Crawford, Natalie Milliser, Mandy Crank, Michelle Williams, Bryan Swords, Angela Clark and Derick Swords; and her sister Helen Allen of Minford. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
