He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Chaffin and Effie Cooper Chaffin; his wife Carolyn Matthews Chaffin; and his siblings, Ann, Mitchell, John, Charles, Chester "Hank", Lucy and Larry.
He is survived by: his sons, Richard Chaffin (Sheri) and Ronald Chaffin (Christina); his grandchildren, Justin, Greg, Zach, Jacob, Shavon and Billy; his great grandchildren, Slayden, Alyssa and Sonny; his great great grandchild Jewel; and his brothers, Lawrence Chaffin and Terry Chaffin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Per CDC guidelines and governor recommendations, everyone is asked to wear a mask and practice proper social distancing procedures and guidelines Arrangements are under the direction of Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford.
