He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Combs and Lura Shepherd Combs; his former wife Mildred Alline Combs; his children, Alden Bo Slone and Patricia Colley; his siblings, Floyd Edward Combs, Bobby Lee Combs, Odis Combs, Curtis Combs, James Combs, Cecil Combs, Marie, Dorothy and Betty Cole; his parents-in-law, Ray and Martha Wright (Ruth); his brother-in-law Daniel Wright; and his stepson Kevin Mills.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Wright Combs of Minford; his children, Curtis Combs (Jenifer) of Minford and Rita Montgomery (Paul) of Minford; and his stepsons, James Kenneth Hay (Tracy), Jamie Keith Hay (Tonda) and Ralph Miller (Tony). He is also survived by five step-grandsons, and nine step-great grandchildren.
