He is survived by: his wife Barbara Powell Trowbridge; his children, Tim Trowbridge and Lisa Trowbridge; his grandchildren, Marissa Trowbridge, Ethan and Elijah Crabtree; his brother James Trowbridge (Beth); and his nieces, Jodi Luker and Carrie Trowbridge of Texas.
