He was predeceased by: his son David Wayne Shonkwiler. He is survived by: his wife Patty Jo Shonkwiler; his children, Bryan Shonkwiler (Joan), Mark Shonkwiler (Sabrina) and Lori Donahoe (Dwayne); his grandchildren, Matthew Shonkwiler (Veronica), Aaron Shonkwiler (Carly), Gabe Shonkwiler (Ashli), Mandy Childers (Sean), Hilary Rowland (Nate), Emily Kelly (Odie), Abby Keller (Luke), Zoe Doll, Livi Shonkwiler and Mya Shonkwiler; and his siblings, Walter Shonkwiler, Willa Marion (Art) and Linda Howard. He is also survived by fifteen great grandchildren.
