He was predeceased by: his parents, Dale Ephram and Clytie Kuhns (King); and his brother Dale Edwin Kuhns. He is survived by: his wife Wanda Kuhns (Mullins); his son Paul Gregory Kuhns; his grandson Nicholas Kuhns; and his sister Karolyn King. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
