He was predeceased by: his parents, James Brafford and Berta "Bertie" Hall Brafford; and his siblings, Pauline, Ruby, Mary Katherine, Johnny and Buster Brafford.
He is survived by: his son-in-law Keith; his wife Shirley K. Schuler Brafford; his daughter Kristi Wiehle (Keith); and his grandsons, Joshua Wiehle, Samuel Wiehle and Zebadiah Wiehle. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
