He was predeceased by: his father Joseph; his sons, Clifton J. Baker and Gregory Baker; and his siblings, Wilma Lee Parker, Marie Blackburn, Loretta Holsinger, Ethel Thacker, Flora Reed, Effie Hale, J. C. Maynard, Ferrell Maynard, Bobby Maynard, Van Baker and Hi Maynard.
He is survived by: his wife Shelby Jean Baker (Ray); his children, Billy Baker of Wheelersburg and Patty Baker-Howard of Sciotoville; and his brothers, Sam Baker and Buck Baker. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
