He is survived by: his parent Ora Childers (Howard); his wife Shirley Marie Childers (Eldridge); his daughter Marissa Joy Childers (David Brado); his grandchildren, Noah Childers, Carolyn "Gracie" Childers and Oliver Childers; his stepgrandchild Elijah Shields; and his sister Norma Childers.
