He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest E. Messer Sr. and Myrtle Messer (Elliott); and his wife Brenda Messer. He is survived by: his children, Dana Messer (Andrea), Scott Messer, Shane Messer (Donya) and Tamara Smith of Milan, IN; and his brother Ken Messer of Wheelersburg. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and one great great grandson.
