He was predeceased by: his children, Kimberly Joy Nakanchi, Douglas Edward Rapp and Joe Edward Bradford; and his siblings, Mabel Knore, Murble Green, Avanell Ellsberry, Pauline Rapp and Minford Rapp.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Frances Jeter Rapp; and his daughters, Diane Stinson (James) of Bowling Green, KY, Becky Stanfield (Link) of Brownwood, TX and Frances Bates (Tom) of Henry, TN. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
