She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas James and Bessie Jane Eggers James; her husband Harry C. James; her sons, Harold Thomas James and Orville David James; and her sister Gladys Irene Fisher.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sandra Bourne (Kevin) and Lawana Whitt (Paul); her grandchildren, Angela Wilson (Dennis), Kristen Lewis, Darrell Dixon, II, Tommy James, Mashell James, Jennifer James, David James (Leslie) and Brandi Steible; and her brothers, John James (Mary Ann) and William James (Carol Ann). She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
