She is survived by: her mother Janet Nance (Tingler) of Rosemount; her husband Walter Burchett Sr.; her sons, Walter Lee Burchett Jr. of Minford and Matthew Lewis (Lori) of Fayetteville, NC; and her sisters, Karen Hayes of McArthur, Tamara Reener of McArthur and Janet Twinam of Sciotoville. She is also survived by five grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren.
