With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sara M Smith of Minerva, Ohio, born in Newell, West Virginia, who passed away on October 20, 2020 at the age of 87. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sara M Smith to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James Hubbard and Mary Young (Hubbard); her husband Delmar Smith; and her sisters, Helen Rayburn, Ilene Daugherty and Roberta Chilson.

She is survived by: her daughter Kimberly Merrick (Richard) of Minerva; her grandchildren, Kenneth Merrick (Natsuko) of East Rochester, Erin Merrick (Christopher Kernen) of Minerva, Jennifer Eddy (Keith) of Jewett and Martin Merrick (CoraLee Daniel) of Minerva; and her great grandchildren, Lisa, Alex Merrick, Abbigail and Keith Richard Eddy.
