It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rose Marie Mathews of Minerva, Ohio, who passed away on January 23, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Berry Powell and Massaleaner Powell (Simpson); her husband James; and her siblings, Mary Alice Walker, Vivian Chambers, William, Berry, Dempsey and Roy.
She is survived by: her daughter Kathryn Mathews of Boston, MA; her grandson Joseph Mathews (Daisy) of South Carolina; her niece Renee Powell; her nephews, Larry Powell of East Canton and Roy Walker; and her great-niece Summer Walker. She is also survived by other nieces and nephews.
