He was predeceased by: his father John Shatzer; and his brothers, John and Kevin Shatzer. He is survived by: his wife Lynette Shatzer (Ward); his children, Yvonne Scuro (Jim) of Minerva, Ronald Shatzer (Jackie) of Minerva, Robert Shatzer, Jason Leyda (Jennifer) of Bedford, TX, Shawn Shatzer of Minerva and Michael Shatzer of Minerva; his siblings, Judy Scott and Lonnie Shater; his grandchildren, Steffan, Ella Shatzer, Eric Nickell (Jenny), Evan Nickell, Alec, Kyle Shatzer (Katelyn), Margo Brandon (Chris), Morgan Albright (Amanda), Emory, Grant Leyda and Jasper Shatzer; and his great grandchildren, Dexter, Deacon and Elias.
