He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ervin Shirley and Betty Jane Shirley (Haney); his wife Nellie Shirley (Marteney); his children, Shelly Reese (Matthew) of Zoar and Eric Shirley of Minerva; his siblings, Connie McCort (Jim), Cindy Ferguson (Tiny) of Alliance and Jim Shirley of Robertsville; his sister-in-law Norma Shirley of Paris; his grandchildren, Dyllan Shirley (Keisha) of Malvern and Desirae Shirley of East Rochester; his great grandchildren, Mya, Bow and Harlyn Shirley; his sister-in-law Susie Shirley; and his brother John Shirley. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
