He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles Roberts and Mary Roberts (Aldridge); his wife Kathie Roberts (Arden); his sons, Bruce Roberts (Sandra Mason) of North Carolina and Ricky Roberts of North Carolina; and his brother Elton Roberts (Sandi) of Canton. He was also cherished by 6 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
