She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Shaffer and Dorothe Shaffer (McKenzie); her daughter Stephanie Hixenbaugh; and her brother Douglas Shaffer. She is survived by: her husband Rick Hixenbaugh; her sons, Brandon Hixenbaugh of Minerva and Bryce Hixenbaugh (Shaunette) of Carrollton; her grandchildren, Destiny, Hayden, Zoey and Avah; her niece Jodi Lovelace (John); her nephew Jason Shaffer; and her cousin Mary Jayne Hines of Minerva.
