She was predeceased by: her parents, Neal Barnes and Wymadott Barnes (Hamilton); and her granddaughter Tanya Heffern. She is survived by: her husband Harold Bates; her children, Elaine Reagle, Harold "Neal" Bates of Minerva, David Bates of Minerva and Mark Bates (Beth); her grandchildren, Allison Jacobs (Josh), Casey Lehman (Cody), Jessica Hulings (Travis) and Michael Heffern; and her great grandchildren, Lucas Lehman, Rynn Heffern and Arashi Hulings.
