He was predeceased by: his parents, John Marion and Wilma June Waseman (Rigby); and his grandparents, William and Erma Rigby. He is survived by: his wife Susan Kay Waseman (Van Voorhis-Brogan); his children, Scott Waseman (Beverly) of Akron and Kelley Cusick of Waynesburg; his brothers, Jeffrey Waseman (Joyce), David Waseman of Minerva, Kenneth Waseman (Kim) of Massillon and Steven Waseman (Ginger); his grandchildren, Elaina Waseman, Megan Pauley (Josh) and Jakob Cusick (Stephanie); and his great grandchild Landon Pauley.

He fought a lengthy battle with Parkinson's Disease.
