He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Doney and Anna Doney (Burrell); his wife Alberta Doney (Adams); his brothers, Gene, Richard and Jack Doney; and his granddaughter Marisa.
He is survived by: his children, Pam Carnahan (Tom) of Hanoverton, Lori Wilson (Dan) of Carrollton, Joann Rinaldi (Joe) of Homeworth and James Doney, Jr. of Minerva; and his siblings, Bonnie Gomer of Louisville, Dorothy Pratt, Canton and Tom Doney of Marlboro. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.
