She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Ross and Margaret Elizabeth McCarty Sr. (Girting); her sisters, Edith Cordia (Frank) and Mary Evans (Ray); her son Donald Ross, Jr.; and her grandson William Ross Ochsenbine.

She is survived by: her children, Ronnie Rex McCarty, Minerva, Tammy Jays (Joe), Okeechobee, Terry Lee Ochsenbine and Richard Ochsenbine (Amy). She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
