He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Smith and Evelyn Smith (Long); and his brothers, Jim, Dale and Glenn Smith.
He is survived by: his daughter Stephanie Smith (Micah Lawson) of Minerva; and his siblings, Chris Simon (Jerry) of Canton South and Bobby Smith (Brenda) of Minerva. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
