She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard "Dick" Clary and Mildred Higginbothom; her husband Ralph Lortz; her daughter Susan Smalley; and her children-in-law, Bruce Smalley and Cindy Lortz.
She is survived by: her children, Steve Lortz of East Canton, Scott Lortz (Pati) of Louisville, Lori Zwick (Duane) of Minerva and Lisa Lewis (Rick) of Minerva; and her grandchildren, Benjamin Smalley (Melissa), Tabitha Hambach (Jarrett), Diane Swallen (Justin), Richard Lortz (Nicole), Megan Danner (Kyle), Stacy Connolly (William) and Alex Lewis (Kate). She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.
