He was predeceased by: his brothers, Robert and Steve Ohl. He is survived by: his wife Karen Ohl (Lee); his mother Judy; his children, Ricky Ohl, Kellie Work (Mark) and Eric Ohl; and his stepchildren, Greg Mickel (Orisha), David Mickel (Amanda) and Avfton List (William). He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
