Murphy (Mineral Ridge, Ohio), born in Springfield, South Carolina, who passed away on April 6, 2019, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Murphy and Dorothy Akins Murphy; and his siblings, Charles Murphy, Gerald Murphy, Mary Burns and Dorothy Scott.

He is survived by: his children, John Murphy (Mary) of McDonald, James Murphy (Carol) of Niles, Joseph Murphy of Trenton, NJ, Elizabeth Horton (Gary) of Greenville, MI and Debbie Chirozzi; his sister Patricia Herrier (Ted) of North Ridgeville; and also Elizabeth Glazier. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
