We are sad to announce that on January 23, 2012 we had to say goodbye to Hester Dixon of Mineral Ridge, Ohio, born in Canmer, Kentucky. She was predeceased by: her parents, Quinn Thompson and Amanda Barbour Thompson; her sons, Melvin Dixon and Mark Dixon; and her siblings, Wendell C. Thompson, Daniel Thompson, John Thompson, Donald Thompson, Myrite Thompson, Dorothy Thompson and Phyllis Thompson.

She is survived by: her husband William E. Dixon; her sons, Michael Dixon of Warren, Milton Dixon of Warren, Marvin Dixon of Mansfield, Mitchell Dixon of Washington, D. C. and Martin Dixon of Maple Heights; and her siblings, Willie Q. Thompson of Munfordville, KY, Jeannetta Faye Dixon of Louisville, KY and Rita L. Thompson of Aurora, IL. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
