It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Geneva P. Sigley of Mineral Ridge, Ohio, born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 1, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Israel Peter and Goldier Alma Blystone Yount; her husband Waldo Calvin Sigley, Sr.; her son Andrew; her grandchildren, Britney, Dustin and John; and her siblings, Vernon, DeWayne, Ronald, Gerald, Doyle, Charles and Goldie.
She is survived by: her children, Loretta Rakich of Warren, Patricia Chmelik (Dave) of Warren, Veronica McCurdy of Mineral Ridge, Waldo Calvin Sigley, Jr. (Sherry) of Niles, Steven Sigley (Christine) of Austintown and Mark Sigley of Mineral Ridge; and her siblings, Audrey Newson, Donna Bash, Rosalie Smeltzer and Ivan Yount. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren; and 28 great grandchildren.
