He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Roy Smith and Margaret Elizabeth Dorner Smith; his siblings, Everett "Red" R. Smith, William "Bill" G. Smith, Minor T. Smith, Richard "Joe" J. Smith and Margaret "Maggie" E. Alexander; and his siblings-in-law, Carole Smith and Richard Alexander.
He is survived by: his pets, Daphne and Tiffy; and his sister Diana (Gary Barnes). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
