She was predeceased by: her father Sam Houston; and her brother Billy Redmond. She is survived by: her mother Ruby Whittaker (King) of Howland; her husband Thomas J. Houser; her children, Melanie Houser (Rashawnda Pixley) of Mineral Ridge and T. J. Houser (Lisa) of Savannah, GA; her grandchildren, Alivia, Devin, Cody and Sam; and her siblings, Donald Wilcox and Tracy Wilcox of Howland. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family to offset funeral expenses.
