It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Vera Miller of Mineral City, Ohio, born in Dover, Ohio, who passed away on July 4, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willard Ray and Martha Belle Wigfield (Bates); her husband Taylor F. "Jake" Miller, Sr.; her son Taylor F. "Jakie" Miller, Jr.; and her granddaughter Brittany Hartline.
She is survived by: her sons, Steven R. Miller (Jay Melzer) of Mineral City and Todd J. Miller of Mineral City; her daughters-in-law, Carol L. Miller of Mineral City and Deborah G. Herron of Dover, OH; her grandchildren, Ashleigh M. Baker (Brian) of Mineral City, Jordan Roy Miller of Mineral City and Jake "J. J." Miller (Ashley) of New Philadelphia, OH; her great grandchildren, Lincoln Drake Hartline of Mineral City and Gatlin Taylor Miller of New Philadelphia; her siblings, Louella M. "Lou" Dunn of Somerdale, OH, Bill Wigfield of Uhrichsville, OH, Joe Wigfield (Steph) of Magnolia, OH and Jerry Wigfield (Sally) of Sherrodsville, OH; and her grandson-in-law Jeremiah Hartline of Mineral City. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
The family has requested that all attendees observe COVID protocols and masks will be required.
