With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruby Marlene Hammel of Mineral City, Ohio, born in Dover, Ohio, who passed away on December 23, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Burkhart and Letha Mae Burkhart (Blake); her granddaughter Aldawna Hammel; and her sisters, Velma Kendall and Geraldine "Blondie" Wise.
She is survived by: her son Gayle Hammel (Shannon) of Bolivar; her granddaughters, Kathryn Diaz Valero (Eric), Michaela Mohler (Aaron) and Johnna Hammel (Seth Schuman); her great grandchildren, Lamarr, Brynleigh, Mia, Jasper and Delilah; her siblings, Sherman Burkhart and Betty Hershberger; and her nephew Terry Hershberger.
