He was predeceased by: his parents, Kennard C. Ramsey and Pauline Smith-Ramsey (Hill); his wife Patricia; his siblings, Phillip, Duane, Steven, David, Roger Smith and Lenore Chandler; and his granddaughter Bergunde Davis.
He is survived by: his daughters, Melesia, Takeisha, Carla and Kalee Smith; his grandchildren, Jazmin, Malik, Jayla, Joshua, Maleah, Shawn and Angela; his great grandchild Ja'Khi; and his brothers, Charles Ellery Smith (Christine) and John Ramsey (Margurite). He is also survived by two step-children; many nieces and nephews.
