He was predeceased by: his parents, William Eugene and Helen K. Ryan Shingler; and his wife Carol Ann Herbert Shingler. He is survived by: his siblings, John D. Shingler (Elonda) of Wooster, Sandra E. Russell of Nelsonville, Linda Curry (Michael) of Johnstown and Sally Baur (Robert) of Columbus. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
