He is survived by: his brother Kirk Smith of Hawaii; his nephew Levi Smith of Hawaii; his nieces, Ruth Tashlein (Dan) of Perkasie, PA, Erika Fay (David) of The Plains, Ariel Salzman (Brendan Robinson) of Portland, OR, Naomi Brown (Sheldon) of California and Shannon Montgomery of California; and his brother-in-law Bernard Salzman of Millfield.
