He was predeceased by: his parents, William Russell and Mildred Russell; his wife Ruth A. Russell (Butch); his children, Chris Russell and Amber Russell-Rutter; his brother John; and his sister-in-law Goldie Russell.
He is survived by: his brothers, Howard Russell (Ruth) of Chauncey and Dave Russell (Norma) of Jacksonville; his son-in-law Everett Rutter of Lancaster; his siblings-in-law, Charlie McCune (Judy) of Millfield, Roger McCune (Cathy) of Millfield, Marian Reazor (Jim) of Florida and Bonnie Shifflet of Glouster; and his nephew Cole Shifflet (Chelsea Washburn) of Amesville. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
