He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Koons and Irene Koons (Rasp); his in-laws, Kenneth and Marie Russell; his brother Greg Koons; his sister-in-law Rhonda Russell-Graham; and his nephew Barry Koons (Bearcat).
He is survived by: his wife Debbie Koons (Russell); his daughters, Tara Sayre (Bill) and Beth (Shaun); his grandchildren, Jayne Irene, Tyler Sayre and Matthew Sheridan; his brother Bill Koons (Teresa); his pet Vic; his sisters-in-law, Judy Koons and Phyllis Koons; his nephews, Greg, Jeff Koons, Adam Cullimore and Josh Russell-Seitz; and his niece Becky Koons.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Millfield Christian Church (16100 Main St, Millfield, OH 45761). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
