With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Lou Childress of Millfield, Ohio, born in Athens, Ohio, who passed away on October 26, 2023 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dennis Childress and Doris Beveridge Childress; his sister Jody Childress; his brother-in-law Barry West; and his in-laws, John and Faye McCaman Wanko.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Wanko Childress; his daughter Heather Vail Warmke (Jeff) of Pittsburgh, PA; his grandchildren, Madison and Luke Warmke of Pittsburgh, PA; his sister Debra Childress West of Albany; his nephew Travis West (Carma) of Albany; his niece Kelly West of Athens; his great-niece Raegan West; and his close friends, Charles and Patricia Robinette.
