He is survived by: his former wife Debra Dotson; his children, Elizabeth Barker (Gary) of Springfield, Jennifer Morgan of Springfield, William J. Dotson, Jr. (Hannah Barnett) of Pomeroy, U. S, Army Specialist Danny A. Dotson of Millfield and Christopher Battson of Springfield; and his brothers, Bob Dotson of Fla, Jamie Dotson of Shade, Sam Dotson of Athens and Paul Dotson (Cheryl) of Athens. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
