He was predeceased by: his parents, Jess D. McKenzie and Virginia L. Phillips. He is survived by: his children, Melissa Azbell (Adam) of Baltimore, OH. and Heath McKenzie (Marie) of Madera, California.; his grandchildren, Taylor Azbell, Mason McKenzie and Miles McKenzie; his siblings, Becky Thomas of Bremen, Jody McKenzie of Thornville and Bruce McKenzie of Wilton Manors, FL.; and his pet Weezee.
